Giavanni Vigliotti
Critical Facility Engineer / Meta / FacOps · South Region
Eight years operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting mission-critical mechanical, electrical, and control systems where uptime is non-negotiable.
About
I'm a Critical Facility Engineer on Meta's FacOps team in Montgomery, AL, supporting a gigawatt-scale hyperscale data center campus — AI-optimized and among the largest data center sites in the world. My job is keeping the mechanical, electrical, and control systems behind some of the busiest AI workloads running 24×7.
Before Meta I spent eight years in commercial and industrial HVAC/R — most recently servicing dialysis centers and healthcare critical infrastructure, where equipment failure isn't an option. Large-scale chillers, CRAC units with glycol loops, VRF and DX systems, BACnet/BMS controls, and the procedure-based work it takes to do all of it without disrupting operations.
I'm at my best where mechanical, electrical, and controls overlap and the wrong move costs uptime.
